Your message can read, “Hello {first_name}. Thank you for your business today! We want to keep providing high-quality services, so could you take some time to answer a few questions about your experience at this link {link}?”

2. We Value your Feedback

Another factor is knowing how to make your requests feel inviting instead of mandatory.

With the “We Value/Enjoy Your Feedback” template, customers will feel comfortable with you because they will know that you can handle criticism better than competitors.

Write to your customers, “Your feedback matters to us, {first_name}. By sharing about your experience here {link}, you can provide the feedback we need for better service. We appreciate your help!”

3. Drop Us a Review

It is important to get customer reviews on a variety of online review websites to bring as much attention to your business as possible.

If you want to work on sites where you are getting poor reviews, then you can use the “Drop Us a Review” template to balance it out with the sites with positive reviews.

Your request could read, “Hi {first_name}. If you have a minute, we would like to know how we were able to help you today. Let us know about your experience here {link}. We hope to see you again soon!”

4. Rate our Products

Another tip to follow for how to get testimonials is knowing how specific products are performing compared to others. Use the “Rate Our Products” template to get an idea of which items need improvements and which ones are performing well so that you can keep putting more in your customers' hands.

Text your customers, “Thank you for bringing our products to your home, {first_name}. We want to know how our offerings are performing so that we can keep you happy. Rate our products here {link} so that we can make them better every day. Thank you!”

5. Rate Your Visit

Some customers still prefer to purchase items at physical stores to get a better sense of offerings and the company.

You can still apply digital marketing to these customers with the “Rate Your Visit” template so that they spend just as much time buying in-person as they do online.

Write to your customers, “Thank you for visiting our store today, {first_name}. We hope to see you again soon, and this survey {link} will help us provide the same experience to other customers. Have a great day!”

6. Let Us Know How We Did

Knowing how to ask customers for reviews requires knowing how to make them feel comfortable giving reviews that may not be favorable.

With the “Let Us Know How We Did” template, you can bolster your positive reviews and also take advantage of criticisms that can help you create a hit product that can boost sales.

The SMS message can read, “Hi {first_name}. We appreciate your business today, and we want to know how we can provide even better service in the future. Let us know how we did here {link}, and will continue to improve upon our customer service.  Thanks!”

7. Rate Us on Google

Search Engine Optimization (SEO) comes in handy for bringing more people to your site, and Google is a common tool for finding information for purchases. You can keep or bring in customers with Google accounts with the “Rate Us On Google” template.

Text to customers, “It was great sharing our products with you today, {first_name}. We would appreciate it if you provided a Google review here {link} so that other people can know what it's like to work with us. Enjoy your day!”

8. Rate Us on Facebook

Social media comes in handy for connecting with other people, especially if you are trying to boost your customer base.

That's why we recommend the “Rate Us On Facebook” template to bring more views to your Facebook page while giving your customers a voice.

Message your customers, “Hi {first_name}. We're glad that our services have been meeting your needs, and we want to do the same for others. Take a minute to review us on Facebook {link} so that we can consistently provide high-quality products/services. Thanks!”
